Yes, yes, I’ve been on a bit of a hiatus of late. But today we make up for it with a fantastic show with a great guest: Matt Kremer. Matt is a developer and entrepreneur and is having great success building out micro-SAAS products, often times in as little as 24 hours. Matt is finding this approach successful because he both validates his product/market fit quickly, and monetizes these products quickly.
Here are a few resources from the show today.
Find It, Buy It, Build it – As a developer your time is valuable. Don’t reinvent the wheel. If you can find an open source project around your need then use it. If you can’t find it open source then buy a premium plugin or library. If those both fail then build it yourself, but only as a last resort.
The Passion Method – We have a limited amount of time on which we can work on our entrepreneurial ventures. Don’t waste time with things that you don’t care about, even if they might make you money.
Kobra.io – Real time collaboration for coders.
FreeCodeCamp – Learn Node.js for free and support non-profit companies as you learn how to develop real products.
Matt’s guide to developing software products in a weekend is a must read. Check it out here for FREE! Crazy.
