Show Notes

Today Dave and I sit down with John Turner of SeedProd to talk about the series of WordPress plugins that he’s created over the last few years, and some of his plans for the future.

John has a few plugins that are already at the top of their niches:  Ultimate Coming Soon and Maintenance Mode plugin for WordPress.  John is planning to bring another plugin 404-Pro and has a Landing Page plugin in the works.  John is also working on a WordPress specific plugin market, called SellWP.  Stay tuned to hear more about each of these on his blog.

We run through a lot of the popular questions that WordPress developers have:  pricing of plugins and themes as add-ons to the repo, app marketplace potential, the economics of WordPress, and what challenges WP developers are facing at this time.

You can learn more about John over at SeedProd.com, or hit him up on Twitter @johnturner.
